Treat Your Current Clients As If They Were Potential New Business

Why things too do marketing agencies always learn late. The article below talks about treating and courting your current clients as if they were potential new business, but isn't that obvious. As someone who's worked in several marketing agencies i'm always baffled by how much time, effort and money the agency puts in attracting new business while its current clients have to stand on the side line waiting for attention. To me, this is very wrong. To me, your currently clients are and should be your main priority, they are you bread and butter, they PAY YOUR BILLS. If they aren't happy, how do you intend on building a good reputation and attracting new clients???

It's always great to bring in new clients but only when you know you have the resources to support them. If you treat your currently clients with respect and create good work, your reputation and portfolio WILL bring in new business.
